Hello!

Could you help me with my new problem on my R9 1.4 TL (1983) - with my Solex carburator. Yesterday morning I went to work without problems, but in the afternoon 2 minutes after I started motor - motor shuted down - had realy small RPM. I put off airfilter and I saw some fuel around carburator - I tried to start motor again and it works a while, but then I saw fuel overflows off carburator - it is like the carburator were somewhere blocked.. this is the first time after that 10 years driving my R9.. :( I have no idea where can be a problem. I have one more R9 GTL for parts and there is also Solex 32 carburator so I think I can swap them.

Can anyone help me where could be a problem please? I will put this also to FR language, because I know this is mostly FR forum so please excuse my FR language, it can be incorrect.

Pourriez-vous m'aider avec mon nouveau problème sur ma R9 1.4 TL (1983) - avec mon carburateur Solex. Hier matin, je suis allé au travail sans problèmes, mais dans l'après-midi, 2 minutes après que j'ai commencé moteur-moteur shute - avait vraiment petit RPM. J'ai éteint le filtre à air et j'ai vu du carburant autour du carburateur - j'ai essayé de redémarrer le moteur et ça a fonctionné un moment, mais j'ai vu le carburant déborder du carburateur - c'est comme si le carburateur était bloqué. 10 ans au volant de ma R9 .. :( Je ne sais pas où peut être un problème.J'ai encore un R9 GTL pour les pièces et il y a aussi carburateur Solex 32 donc je pense que je peux les échanger.

thank you, On tuesday I will check it. If it will be blocked, what should I do with that? I just hope there is only problem with carburator and not somewhere else..

the float could be porous it's easy to replace it, if it's necessary

You could renew your carburator. It is possible to order a pocket of new joints or taps for your carburator.

So I have changed whole carburettor Solex 32 BIS (older version) for Solex 32 BIS (newer version) and it works. I will check old carburettor and try to clean it. It looks like it was realy clogged.
