Hi all,
The On-Board Computer on my Renault 11 TXE shows random static numbers. Currently it just shows "506" and doesnt change when I press any button! What can be wrong and can it be saved?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Renault 11 TXE on-board computer faults
Hi,
Is there any pictogram on your screen ? Such as Fuel tank, temperature unit, speed unit ?
Have you tried to disconnect the car battery (-) and put it back on again ?
You may find some directions here although it's in french, should you need any help please ask if you need translation :

Re: Renault 11 TXE on-board computer faults
I did some measurements with the multimeter and compared them to the ODB manual
showed about 150ohms which is outside the usual range so I ordered a new sensor
the 1 & 4 connectors showed 241 ohms which is the max, maybe the fuel float is broken but connectors 1&3 that connect to the dashboard show the correct fuel level
anyone knows if the dashboard & odb have 2 different floats?
the speedometer is disconnected from fuel flow meter, can that affect the fuel flow meter? or the fuel flow meter just faulty?
