R11 TXE Electronic from Poland

Hello
I`m the owner of R11 Electronic from poland from eastern border of UE :)
I`m writing in english (sorry for mistakes, and bad spelling) because i dont speak french, but if someone speaks polish so please give me know.
I recently bought this car quite cheaply but there is a lot of work to do.

This is 1985 Electronic

1.7 F2N 700 engine

I want to rebuild this car.

First problem is that that car doesn`t show speed, odometer doesn`t work too and trip computer doesnt show anything.
The thing is it was working when I bought it a month ago, but i pull out this for cleaning [ img ]
When I put it back, car stoped showing speed. Talking computer stoped talk about fings conected with speed (doors, hand break)

Nice car, we are impatiant to get some more photgraphies of your Electronic.

About your problem, it seems easy to resolve :oui: . If you moved the module, you might have disconnected the speedometer information cable. If you want to put it back, without moving again the module, you can dismantle the dark plastic bit just below (starter command, intensity of lightning for the dashboard, and another button for the inclinaison of the front lamps).

There are two screws to undo, then pull down then forward the hole thing. (Baware not to leave the connectors for the lightning of the dashboard disconnected when you put it back again). Pass you hand in the hole and try to put the cable for the speed information back : this cable(made of three little cables in fact) is located just behind the module. I hope you'll find it easily :oui:

About the trip computer, almost nobody has one that works correctly ! No information for the fuel consumption...

Another question, I've just noticed near the egine something we havn't got. It's the round shaped piece with a blue thing at the middle and two dark tubes going through it. What's that for :???:

This round thing is for LPG instalation.
Module is correctly conected for sure.
In the Renault Klub Poland im the only one with the R11, just a few left on the roads.
I also have R25 from 1991 TXE

Can't you try as I explained you a few messages before ? Ah I misunderstud. Well that's strange. But did it work before ? Check again :bah:

I was pulling it out a few times, also checking conections . It might by a broken cable sensor-module but i don`t know how tu check it out.

I`m quite good in mechanics but ass in electrics ;) Recently I changed carburetor, my weber have one stroke broken, i found a solex from a Volvo, it`s also dual stroke, but main is a litle smaler.

I checked with ohmometer "capteur de vitesse" and it shows "3" and no changes while driving.

Sorry but I've got no knoledges about how to repair your speedometer. But I think I've got some renault books abouts diagnostics for electricity. I'll have a look.
